MANAGEMENT:

Gary,  Owner. Gary started Mortimer Custom Landscape and Maintenance in 1987.  He opened Mortimer Nursery in December 1995.  Gary manages and oversees all of the commercial & residential landscape projects & maintenance.  He also oversees the purchasing ensuring the best products to retail in the Nursery.  Gary has over 30 years of experience in the Nursery & Landscape industry and is ready to put this experience to work for you!

Sharla,  Administrative Assistant, Commercial & Residential Landscape and Maintenance. Sharla joined the Mortimer team in 1996 and aids in the organization and management of commercial & residential landscape projects & maintenance. She is knowledgeable in the schematics of both Commercial & Residential landscape design and installation.

Valerie, Nursery Manager: Valerie joined Mortimer Nursery in 1998. Previously, she managed her own plant nursery in northern California. She is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional, has completed the Wildfire Defensible Landscape Professional class given by the Arizona Cooperative Extension, belongs to numerous garden organizations and is an expert herbalist.

Jesus, Landscape Crew Superintendent: Jesus has worked with our landscaping crew since 1998. He oversees the installation of all landscape projects.  Jesus is very experienced in all kinds of landscape plant material, hardscapes, and has a great eye for the details!  He makes sure every landscape project is another example of the craftmanship and quality we have built our reputation on!

GARDEN CENTER & LANDSCAPE MATERIAL STAFF:
Judy, Customer Service: Judy has been helping Mortimer’s customers since 1999. She is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional.

Monica, Customer Service: Monica is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional, holds an Advanced Nursery Professional certificate from California and has completed the Wildfire Defensible Landscape Professional class given by the Arizona Cooperative Extension. She joined our staff in 2005. 

Jack, Delivery Driver:  Melchor worked with us since 2010.  He is ready and able to assist customers in getting the right product delivered on time and without incident. 

Melchor, Yard Manager and Delivery Driver:  Melchor worked with us since 2007.  He is ready and able to assist customers in choosing the right product for all your landscape needs.  He also delivers these products to you!

Rico and Jose: Rico has been with Mortimer Nursery since 1992 and Jose since 2005.  They deliver and install plants for our customers.

LANDSCAPE:
Lee, Landscape Designer: Lee earned a 5-year Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture and is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional. He has been designing landscapes for our clients since 1993.
