Our Staff

MANAGEMENT:
Valerie, Nursery Manager: Valerie joined Mortimer Nursery in 1998. Previously, she managed her own plant nursery in northern California. She is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional, has completed the Wildfire Defensible Landscape Professional class given by the Arizona Cooperative Extension, belongs to numerous garden organizations and is an expert herbalist.

Paul, Assistant Nursery Manager: Paul has been with Mortimer Nursery since 2002, bringing with him several years of retail management experience.

GARDEN CENTER & LANDSCAPE MATERIAL STAFF:
Judy, Customer Service: Judy has been helping Mortimer’s customers since 1999. She is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional.

Linda, Customer Service: Linda joined Mortimer Nursery in 2003 with 18 years of nursery experience in her native Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Antelope Garden Club based in Chino Valley.

Monica, Customer Service: Monica is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional, holds an Advanced Nursery Professional certificate from California and has completed the Wildfire Defensible Landscape Professional class given by the Arizona Cooperative Extension. She joined our staff in 2005.
 
Priscilla, Customer Service: Priscilla began work at Mortimer Nursery in 2005.  She brings many years of retail experience with her. 

Lucinda, Safety Coordinator & Customer Service: Cindy began work at Mortimer Nursery in 2007. She is an avid gardener and especially enjoys growing fruit trees, cacti and succulents. She is a former member of the San Diego Rose Society and the San Diego Cacti & Succulent Society.

Victoria, Plant Caretaker & Housekeeper: Victoria has worked with Mortimer Nursery since 2006.  She gives our plants the daily care they need to stay watered and healthy and keeps everything neat and tidy. 

Jorge, Landscape Material Manager: Jorge joined us in 2004. He manages the Landscape Material Yard.

Rico and Jose: Rico has been with Mortimer Nursery since 1992 and Jose since 2005.  They deliver and install plants for our customers.

LANDSCAPE:
Lee, Landscape Designer: Lee earned a 5-year Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture and is an Arizona Certified Nursery Professional. He has been designing landscapes for our clients since 1993.

Peter, Commercial Landscape Designer: Peter joined our landscaping team in 2007 and brings over 40 years of experience as a commercial and residential architectural designer to the responsibilities of his job.

Susan, Administrative Assistant, Commercial & Residential Landscape. Susan joined the Mortimer team in 2006 and aids in the organization and management of commercial & residential landscape projects & maintenance. She is knowledgeable in the schematics of both Commercial & Residential landscape design and installation.

Jesus, Landscape Crew Supervisor: Jesus has worked with our landscaping crew since 1998. He oversees the installation of all landscapes.
